SEM observations of wire-like sumanene and wire-like corannulene formed on substrates revealed a clear difference in their distribution densities. In addition, devices were fabricated using the same method as in previous studies, and a statistical investigation was conducted. As a result, devices employing wire-like corannulene exhibited a tendency for the current immediately before the SET transition to be suppressed compared with those employing wire-like sumanene. In this study, the origin of this difference observed in the statistical comparison is discussed based on differences in molecular structure and the results of SEM observations.
