The ability to detect photothermal dielectric responses in the nanosecond range is expected to advance research into the thermal properties of dielectrics. Therefore, we constructed a nanosecond-order laser heating system and simultaneously developed a more advanced time-resolved SNDM method.
As a result, nonlinear dielectric signals induced by 10 ns laser pulses and linear dielectric response signals induced by 1 ns pulses were clearly observed.
