[16a-S4_203-12]Electrochemical Liquid Cell STEM Observation of Alkaline Water Electrolysis OER Catalysts

FIB-prepared LaNiO3/NF, OER catalyst for alkaline water electrolysis, was transferred onto a working electrode in an electrochemical liquid cell dedicated to LC-(S)TEM, and then observed by in-situ STEM during OER reaction in KOH solution. On the OER condition, oxygen bubble evolution and structural change of a LaNiO3 particle layer followed by its detachment was observed. Results of in-situ STEM observation of the process will also be reported.
