We performed a simulation of Auger recombination rates for 1.3µm type-II quantum wells using the 8-band k-p perturbation method. It was shown that the CHCC thresholdless Auger recombination coefficient varies with the valence band offset Vv relative to the conduction band offset Vc and reach its minimum near Vv/Vc ~1.5.
