We performed a simulation of Auger recombination rates for 1.3µm type-II quantum wells using the 8-band k-p perturbation method. It was shown that the CHCC thresholdless Auger recombination coefficient varies with the valence band offset V_v relative to the conduction band offset V_c and reach its minimum near V_v/V_c ~1.5.
