We develop biosensors based on oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs) featuring low fabrication cost, scalability, and stable operation in aqueous environments. Previously, we reported that increasing the K+ ion concentration in the contacting solution decreases the drain current, in contrast to the effect of H+ ons. In this study, a similar trend was observed in NaCl solutions, where the drain current decreased with increasing ion concentration. Additionally, the threshold voltage shifted positively at approximately 40 mV/decade with increasing NaCl concentration.
