Currently, there is a demand for compact, self-contained power sources capable of semi-permanent operation for IoT (Internet of Things) devices, aiming to realize a more advanced information society. Therefore, we developed a pseudo-heat sink device that generates electricity from temperature differences. This device utilizes screws, chosen for their height and large surface area exposed to air, which create temperature differences. By coating the screws with single-walled carbon nanotubes, we harness the heat dissipation properties inherent in the screw's helical structure.
