This study aims to construct a phenomenological model describing the phase transition behavior of bismuth-based ferri-dielectrics. We proposed a free energy expression with polarization and oxygen octahedral rotation as order parameters and performed simulations. The results successfully reproduced the pinched P-E hysteresis loop characteristic of ferri-dielectrics. The model can appropriately describe phase transition behavior under electric fields and temperature, demonstrating that it can represent both the electric field-induced and temperature-induced phase transitions in ferri-dielectrics and is a suitable phenomenological model.
