Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) is widely used as a single-particle sizing technique that estimates particle size by determining diffusion coefficients from Brownian motion. However, even for ideally monodisperse samples, the measured size distributions exhibit a finite width and may not directly reflect the true particle size distribution. In this study, this broadening is interpreted as statistical fluctuations, and the variance characteristics of the estimated particle sizes are systematically evaluated using Monte Carlo simulations.
