To deal with the rapidly increasing communication traffic, extensive research has been conducted on the use of terahertz (THz) waves for wireless communication. As an optical source for THz wave generation, soliton combs, which offer high frequency stability, have attracted significant attention. However, the low power of individual comb lines (longitudinal modes) in soliton combs has been a major bottleneck. In this study, we focus on multi-soliton states, where multiple solitons coexist in a resonator, and experimentally investigate their effectiveness for 300-GHz-band communication by exploiting the enhanced comb-line power.
