For the purpose of developing high-power mid-infrared generation devices, we fabricated a multi-layer stacked structure of ZnSe using room-temperature bonding. Previously, scattering loss caused by dust at the bonding interface was a significant issue. To address this, we improved the cleaning process by changing the light source to blue light and switching the mounting substrate to silicon (Si) to enhance visibility and suppress dust contamination. As a result, interference fringes disappeared, and we successfully reduced the loss per interface at a wavelength of 10.6 µm from 2.7% to 0.83%.
