Thin-film organic lasers have attracted considerable attention as next-generation devices owing to their high emission color tunability, mechanical flexibility, and processability. The development of stable and highly efficient organic laser emitters remains a central challenge for their practical application. In this study, we developed a new molecular design that enables the simultaneous achievement of high durability and low-threshold stimulated emission, which has been difficult to realize with conventional stilbene-based designs. In this presentation, we discuss the molecular design principles, detailed photophysical properties, and structure–property relationships.
