We have observed surface structures of Pt sputtered onto Ionic Liquids/Si(100) substrates with annealing until 800 [°C] in the air. The surface structures were observed by scanning electron microscopes (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), while the electronic structures were measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). We confirmed that nearly spherical nanoparticles were formed with substrate annealing temperatures. In this study, we investigated the behavior of nanoparticles with changes of the amount of Pt deposition and the annealing temperature.
