The metal phenolic network (MPN) is of interest for biomedical applications due to its biocompatibility and its antioxidative and antimicrobial effects. Recently, the oxidative effects of MPN based on Fe3+ and tannic acid in living cells have been reported, rather than the antioxidative effects. In this study, we synthesized the MPN nanoparticles and investigated both their effects.
