Thallium bromide (TlBr), which operates at room temperature and possesses high atomic number and high density, shows promise as a highly efficient gamma-ray detector material. While the coplanar type is effective for achieving both high resolution and large effective volume, leakage current due to the grid-to-grid potential difference remains an issue. This study proposes and investigates a zero-bias coplanar type with zero grid bias.
