In the field of accelerator-based nuclear physics, we are facing the common issue where conventional data acquisition systems cannot accommodate the increase in the data flow and/or the complicated event discrimination due to the increase in the beam intensity and the number of readout channels in the detector systems. To resolve this issue, a development platform, SPADI Alliance, has been initiated. In this paper, a fast data acquisition system and its standardization are introduced, and the future plan will be discussed.
