Dimming blinds have attracted attention for improving comfort and energy efficiency in enclosed spaces such as residential rooms and meeting rooms. In this study, we propose a stepwise dimming blind using nano-triangular wave-structured polarizers. By fabricating patterned polarizers with polarization axes arranged at 30° intervals and controlling their relative positions, stepwise dimming behavior is demonstrated.
