Thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) is excepted to be applied in high-performance modulators and wavelength converters and so on. We aim to generate optical frequency combs using the optical Kerr effect in TFLN. Previously, we designed a rib-type optical waveguide and a grating coupler, determined the optical comb generation conditions, established the TFLN fabrication process, and achieved low-loss waveguides. This time, we fabricated and evaluated a TFLN ring resonator.
