In this study, we evaluated the solvent dependence of single-molecule junction formation using HS-Au/Pt nanogap electrodes fabricated by the electroless gold plating (ELGP) method. Precise control of the interface is essential for the realization of next-generation single-molecule transistors. As a result of investigating four types of solvents, we successfully achieved a maximum yield of 26% with a specific solvent. These results provide important guidelines for the integration of highly reliable single-molecule devices.
