Kinetic roughening during interface-limited steady growth on crystal surfaces inclined from (001) to (111) was investigated using the Monte Carlo method.
Since surface roughness (standard deviation of surface height) is characterized by the roughness exponent α, this exponent was determined via simulation, revealing a classification diagram of surface roughness as a kinetic roughening diagram.
