Using kinetic roughening diagrams and surface height difference distribution functions, we demonstrated that the KPZ-like rough region contains three subclasses: KPZ-like1 rough, KPZ-like2 rough, and KPZ-like3 rough.
The characteristic surface topography for each subclass governs the surface kinetics specific to that subclass.
