To enhance overall wellbeing, it is often effective to resolve painful emotional memories. In this article, we introduce Process Oriented Memory Resolution, a method that has proven useful for releasing such memories. Developed by Professor Emeritus Mariko Tanaka of San Francisco State University, this approach helps clients free themselves from the emotions and ingrained beliefs held within painful or traumatic memories. Through the supportive presence of a counselor, clients are guided to gently access these memories and release the emotional burdens associated with them.”
