Tin-based two-dimensional (2D) perovskites have gained attention as lead-free perovskite materials. However, the effects of organic amines on stability and optical properties remain unclear. In this study, the effects of alkylammonium chain length and amine degree on the structure and properties of Tin-based 2D perovskites were investigated. The results indicated that the layered structure and optical properties depend on the organic cations, and in particular, perovskite compounds with short alkyl chain exhibited phase-transition behavior distinct from that of longer-chain analogues.
