Laser-based non-contact thrust generation technology has recently attracted attention for applications such as satellite attitude control and debris removal. This study focused on laser ablation for satellite materials and conducted thrust generation experiments on carbon fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP) using a femtosecond laser. Femtosecond pulse irradiation enables material removal before heat diffusion occurs, promising reduced thermal loss and highly efficient thrust generation.
