Measurements against Typhoon Shanshan
Considering the impact of Typhoon Shanshan, the 74th Conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for online participation in addition to the on-site meeting at Fukuoka University.
The hybrid format will be used for the three-day program. The programs that will be available for online participation are the Plenary Session (Day 1), Specialized Programs (Oral Presentations, Poster Presentations, Key Note Lectures, etc.), Luncheon Seminars, Symposia. Some programs will be held on-site only.
You can choose to participate either onsite or online. Webex will be used for the online system. No advance notice is required except for presenters and chairpersons. Please enter Webex based on the meeting information that will be posted on the website. We have asked Fukuoka University to provide online access to the meeting in consideration of the impact of the typhoon, so we understand that this may cause some inconvenience to participants, such as problems with distribution.
If the public transportation (Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line and Airport Line) to access the on-site venue (Fukuoka University) is suspended, the on-site event will be cancelled and the online event will be held only. This will be determined on a daily basis based on the situation at 6:00 a.m. on each of the first, second, and third days of the conference. Please check the website for details.
Inquiries regarding the format of the event will be accepted at the following address. Inquiries by phone will not be accepted.
