東海大学体育学部体育学科 教授。筑波大学体育科学研究科修了。修士（体育学）。筑波大学附属ろう学校（現：聴覚特別支援学校）、筑波大学附属中学校保健体育科教員として勤務。2005年より現職に着任。アダプテッド・スポーツ科学を中心に研究。「教養としてのアダプテッド体育・スポーツ」（2018 大修館書店）。
