In recent years, university research has become increasingly specialized and advanced. As a result, many students find it difficult to form a concrete image of what it actually means to work in a wood-related company. This tendency is particularly evident in regional universities, where opportunities for collaboration with a diverse range of wood companies may be limited.

At the same time, wood-related companies are facing increasing challenges in securing human resources due to demographic decline.

In this Science Mixer, we will invite alumni and professionals who are actively working at the forefront of the wood industry. They will share insights into their daily work in planning, research and development, quality control, and other fields, as well as speak honestly about the enjoyment and sense of fulfillment they experience in their careers.

Through direct interaction with industry professionals, participants will gain a clearer and more realistic picture of potential career paths in the wood sector.
