Many studies on biochar potentials have only focused on one or several factors. However, considering agricultural implications, precise knowledge of biochar features is yet to be determined. Although higher pyrolysis temperature reduces yield, it may improve biochar functionality. Furthermore, increasing syngas production at higher temperatures potentially reduces CO 2 emissions. Still, do not have a clear overview of the optimal range of pyrolysis temperature which depends upon physicochemical properties, CO 2 emission reduction, and their cumulative interactions. This study is expected to fill these knowledge gaps by meticulously assessing individual and combined interactions between pyrolysis temperatures with physicochemical properties and CO 2 emission reduction, directing pyrolysis process optimization of high-functional biochar production.
