This study presents a comparative Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) framework for evaluating the environmental impacts of natural and synthesized graphite across key stages, including extraction, processing, and disposal. By analyzing factors such as greenhouse gas emissions, water and energy consumption, and waste generation, the study aims to highlight potential sustainability trade-offs between the two graphite sources. This assessment seeks to inform future decisions on material selection in applications like energy storage and electronics manufacturing, providing insights into the environmental implications and resource efficiency of natural versus synthesized graphite.
