In this study, synthesis of half-titanocenes containing unsymmetric imidazolin-2-iminato ligands and their use as catalysts for the ethylene copolymerization with cyclic olefins (COCs) α-olefin will be presented. These complexes demonstrate promising possibility as catalysts for ethylene copolymerization with cyclic olefin copolymers such as norbornene, tetracyclododecene affording copolymers with high glass transition temperature. The catalysts also showed promising performance in ethylene copolymerization with α-olefins. More details will be presented at the symposium.
