Utilizing Propagating Surface Plasmon Resonance

Lowering the operation voltage and enhancing the photosensitivity of the Organic Phototransistors (OPTs) are crucial factors to improve the performance. In this research, we have successfully fabricated Pentacene OPTs with operational voltage lower than − 2 V with IOn/IOff ratio of about 3×102 by using dielectrics double layers of Al2O3 and CYTOP. The photosensitivity(P) of OPTs was also improved by utilizing the propagating SPR excited in the grating structure. Moreover, the effect of CYTOP concentration on the performance of OPTs was also investigated.
