1, Introduction
AuBa2(Y1-xCax)Cu2Oy is a known Au-containing copper oxide superconductor[1]. By replacing a part of Cu in charge reservoir block. Au-Ba2Ca(n-1)(Au,Cu)nOy was also synthesized[2]. However, no Au doping in Sr based cuprates. We synthesized mixed samples of Au-Sr2Ca(n-1)CunOy under high pressure and confirmed their superconductivity. In this study, Au doped CuSr2CaCu2Oy ((Au,Cu)-1(Sr)212) was synthesized using a high pressure apparatus and the crystal structure was analyzed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and powder X-ray diffraction(XRD).
2, Experimental
Au, Ca2CuO3, SrO2, SrCuO2, and CuO2 powders were mixed and heated at 1100-1050℃ for 3h under a pressure of 5.5GPa and then gradually cooled for 3h. The superconductive properties were measured by a SQUID magnetometer. The phase identification was carried out by TEM and XRD. To determine the Au valence, XPS measurements were utilized.
3, Results and discussion
XRD patterns for samples are shown in Fig,1. The samples contained a phase with (Au,Cu)-1(Sr)212 structure. From the SQUID results, the superconductivity of samples with x>0.1 was destroyed. Compositional analysis results using standard samples will be shown in the presentation.
