Superconducting diode effect (SDE) is a rectification phenomenon of supercurrent. The typical SDE is observed when time-reversal symmetry is broken by a magnetic field with inversion symmetry breaking, and polarity of the SDE depends on a direction of the magnetic field. Recently, a magnetic-field-free SDE induced by thermoelectric effect is reported in a device consisting of an iron-based superconductor (SC) with electrodes. Since inversion symmetry is broken at the interface of SC/electrodes, a field-dependent rectification effect originated from the interface can appear in the platform device of the thermoelectric SDE.
In this study, we investigated a field-dependent component of the SDE in iron-based SCs. We obserbed field-dependent and non-linear rectification effect superimposing in the thermoelectric SDE in the iron-based SCs. Interfacial Rashba effect can be an origin of our findings, which will be discussed in the presentation.
