A central composite design was applied to optimize 1.68 eV wide-bandgap perovskite solar cells fabricated by a hybrid evaporation–spin coating method. Substrate temperature, precursor thickness, and formamidinium iodide concentration were systematically correlated with device performance, identifying evaporation substrate temperature as the dominant factor. Under optimized conditions, the devices achieved a power conversion efficiency of 18.63%, further increased to 19.24% by phenylethylammonium iodide vapor passivation. Elevated substrate temperature enhances inorganic framework crystallinity, accelerates perovskite formation, and suppresses non-radiative recombination, enabling conformal perovskite growth on textured silicon for tandem applications.
