This study evaluates the use of local One-Coin Flood Sensor data to improve urban inundation estimates from the CaMa-Flood model in Ogaki City. Simulated floodplain storage from CaMa-Flood was downscaled to point-scale inundation depth using high-resolution topographic relationships and compared with observed water-depth data at two sensor locations. Results showed that the model captured the main flood-response period during August–September 2024, but underestimated peak depths and showed timing discrepancies at both sites. Differences between sensor responses highlighted the importance of local elevation and drainage connectivity in urban flood assessment. The study demonstrates that local sensor observations can support bias diagnosis and post-processing correction of CaMa-Flood outputs while maintaining computational efficiency. Future work will expand the analysis to the wider Ogaki sensor network and examine sensor-informed correction methods, including AI-assisted approaches.
