[P-46]THz波を用いたエポキシ樹脂応力分析に関する研究

In recent years, plastic products are increasingly utilized in automobile and electronic industry for their qualities of lightweight and insulation. Understanding of the plastic parts internal stress becomes important for products optimization and status detection.We propose a non-destructive method to evaluate the internal stress of plastic parts by examining the under-load dependence of the absorption coefficient of terahertz (THz) waves. THz waves are sensitive to plastic chain vibrations and can pass through plastic. In this study, the epoxy parts which under different loads were measured by THz waves absorption coefficient. The results show that the THz absorption coefficient has a correlation with the residual stress of epoxy parts. The results will contribute to the analysis of the plastic products and materials.
