Based on the results of previous presentations, it divided the use of space nuclear energy into five phases: reactor manufacturing, ground transportation, launch, installation, and operation as the discussion of the processes and requirements. While there are specific discussions regarding reactor manufacturing and launch, there is currently limited discussion on ground transportation, installation, and operation. In Japan, based on the Space Strategy Fund, it started to consider semi-permanent power systems with the utilization of nuclear technology. However, specific milestones for nuclear utilization have not been clarified. It is important to take a careful look at the trends in discussions in the U.S. and other countries, as this could also serve as a reference for its societal implementation.
