Located between Tokyo and Nagoya, Shizuoka Prefecture is home to Mount Fuji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Japan's most celebrated landmarks. The conference venue is situated in Gotemba, at the foothills of Mount Fuji, offering spectacular views of the mountain and a relaxing resort environment.
In addition to its natural beauty, Shizuoka is known for its hot springs, green tea, fresh seafood, and cultural attractions. Participants may also enjoy nearby destinations such as Hakone, the Fuji Five Lakes area, and Gotemba Premium Outlets during their stay.

Late November in Shizuoka is generally cool and comfortable. Typical daytime temperatures range from 10°C to 18°C (50°F to 64°F). Participants are advised to bring a light jacket or coat, especially for the evenings.

The currency used in Japan is the Japanese Yen (JPY).
Credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and major stores; however, some smaller shops may accept cash only. International visitors are advised to carry a reasonable amount of cash during their stay. 

 

▼ Electricity

Japan uses 100V electricity with Type A plugs (two flat pins).
Visitors may need a plug adapter depending on their country of origin.
