Visa Application / Entry to Japan

The following information is provided for participants who require a visa to enter Japan for ANRRC2026. Please carefully review the conditions below before submitting your request.
Please note that ANRRC2026 does not support visa applications that combine conference participation with private sightseeing or tourism. If you plan to travel for purposes other than conference attendance, please arrange the appropriate visa independently.

Eligibility for Visa Support

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

• An abstract has been submitted.
• The abstract has been accepted.
• Online registration has been completed.
• Payment of the registration fee has been confirmed.

* Visa support documents cannot be issued unless all of the above requirements have been fulfilled.

Documents Provided by ANRRC2026

The following documents will be issued to eligible applicants, if required:

• Invitation Letter
• Letter of Guarantee
• Letter of Reason for Invitation
• Schedule of Stay
• Certificate of Employment of the Inviter

Visa processing times vary by country and embassy/consulate. Participants are strongly encouraged to contact the nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate and begin the application process as early as possible.
Please note that the preparation of visa-related documents by ANRRC2026 does not guarantee visa issuance or entry into Japan. Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the relevant Japanese Embassy or Consulate.
ANRRC2026 is not responsible for any travel-related expenses, cancellation fees, or other costs incurred as a result of visa denial or processing delays.
If you will transit through another country on your way to Japan, please confirm whether a transit visa is required.

Visa Application Schedule

Visa document requests will be accepted beginning in late August 2026.
