【ハイライト講演】白亜紀の海洋では，酸素の乏しい水塊が広がる海洋無酸素事変が複数回起きていた．本発表では，熊本県の下部白亜系日奈久層について，泥岩の有機炭素同位体比と元素濃度から酸化還元環境を検討する．酸化還元指標に大きな変化がない一方で認められた炭素同位体比変動を，海洋無酸素事変に関連する広域的な環境変化と対比できる可能性を探る発表である．  ※ハイライト講演とは．．．
