Japan Geosciences Union (JpGU) launched the open access journal "Progress in Earth and Planetary Science" (PEPS) in 2014 in collaboration with 51 academic associations participating to JpGU. Impact Factor for PEPS in 2022 has become 3.9, and domestic and international awareness has been increasing, hence building a position as one of the leading journals in Earth and Planetary Sciences. In this session, we would like to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the journal. We will invite presenters from the related parties contributing to PEPS including JpGU, academic associations and external collaborators. We express our gratitude to the presenters and ask for suggestions and advice for further leap forward. Poster session will be organized to accept free presentations related to academic publishing attempted by the academic associations.
