In this study, we aim to improve the reproducibility and accuracy of Radon-222 (²²²Rn) measurements in groundwater, following the previous research. We focus on identifying environmental factors that may influence the concentration of ²²²Rn.
From our experiments, we observed that the concentration of ²²²Rn varied at the same location on different days.
This suggests that environmental factors such as precipitation, air temperature, and water temperature might play a role. Although our results did not show a clear correlation with precipitation, but they do suggest that environmental conditions could affect ²²²Rn levels.
We believe that by collecting more data and conducting further analysis, it may be possible to develop a low-impact method.
