Abstract
Previous studies have stated that the sediment maldistribution on the Kitashitaura and Miura Coasts was caused by artificial sand transport. It is true that my experiments indicated that this is highly likely. However, I believe that coastal drift in Kitashitaura Coast and geographical reasons other than sand dredging and transport are more significant. In this study, the process was derived from the color, grain size, and composition of the sand.
