In pursuit of new scientific advancements free from fixed ideas, efforts to incorporate the philosophical thinking of art are progressing worldwide. This approach is expected to foster the ability to explore new challenges, gain a broad perspective on the essence of problems, and express results in a multimodal way. However, there are still few opportunities to truly experience the impact of this approach. In last public session titled "Why Do Organisms Create Biominerals?", scientists and art experts discussed the integration of science and art from their respective viewpoints, reflecting on how these fields could interact and influence each other. The session attracted a large audience, revealing that the co-creation of new knowledge through the rationality of science and the philosophical nature of art is indeed possible. In this session, examples of new collaborations born from last years event will be introduced, showcasing cooperative efforts between scientists in fields such as geology, volcanology, and biomineralization, and artists from a wide range of disciplines, including design and crafts. The session will explore how creative thinking can contribute to the advancement of earth sciences.
