[U09-P03]Spatial Visualization and Clustering based on Utilization of Geo−informatics Database

In recent years, high-density borehole databases have been developed, enabling the construction of 3D models of soil layers and nitrogen values. Simultaneously, compiling the characteristics of areas where soil layers are distributed is believed to be effective in identifying depositional environments and geological risks. For this purpose, we have endeavored to cluster substantial amounts of drilling data. Kansai Geo-informatics Network (KG-NET) has constructed and been maintaining the Geo-informatics Database for a long time in Kansai and Shikoku regions. Currently, the number of boreholes registered in the database has reached approximately 70,000, excluding Shikoku ( https://www.kg-net2005.jp/index/db03.html ). In previous studies based on the KG-NET database, dominant soil layers were categorized into clay, sand, and gravel, and cluster analysis was conducted. Comparing the cluster distribution obtained from the analysis with the flood control classification map, the areas of sand bars and dunes were consistent with the cluster distribution whose boreholes were predominantly sand and gravel. This study presents the results of an analysis that also incorporates silt.
