The Solid Earth Sciences Section of JpGU is advancing the revision of the Dream Roadmap. While based on the 2020 version, the current scope involves numerous considerations. Therefore, the concept diagram focuses on organizing key areas: scientific topics, foundational observations, and societal collaboration. The main text aims to clarify connections to specific research topics in more detail. However, we have also received feedback that Japan's position within the global context remains unclear, and that the relationship and outlook regarding AI and data science—fields experiencing remarkable recent development—are uncertain. We hope to deepen this discussion at this symposium.
