現在，8020達成率は51.6%に達している．すなわち，少歯高齢社会から多歯超高齢社会になり，欠損歯列の終末像である「すれ違い咬合」への距離感は 以前より遠く感じられる．歯が多いことの健康長寿に対する優位性は揺るがないもの，要介護者の口腔衛生管理は，歯科全体として取り組むべき大きな課題である．本企画では8020達成者の臨床像について，補綴装置を含めて浮き彫りにすることを目的とし，その現状を考察する．
