You can join the public lecture on site or web. The title of the lecture in English is tentative. Only public lectures will be available on-demand after the exhibition, but only for registered attendees.

How to Participate (any of the following is possible)

  1. At the venue (7th floor, National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, Miraikan): Participation cards will be distributed at the registration desk.
  2. Online (Zoom webinar format) 

Application and registration 

Deadline: Friday, July 4, 3:30 p.m.

  1. Registration at the venue 
     Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to each presentation at the “Public Lecture Registration Desk” (Lobby 1, 7th floor, Miraikan). After filling out a registration form at the registration desk, you will receive a participation certificate.
  2. Online Participation 
     You will receive an auto-response email with the URL of the Zoom webinar. If you do not receive the e-mail, please check your “junk mail” and register again.
     Please open Zoom and join the webinar when the corresponding lecture time arrives. 

Precautions

 Photography, recording, videotaping and other recording activities by anyone other than the organizer and those authorized by the organizer are strictly prohibited. For the purpose of distribution, the organizer will conduct Zoom recording including Q&A session and filming in the venue.
 Please be advised that copying screenshots and recording, etc. are also prohibited and will be shared with all parties involved.

Participation in the venue
  • The “Participation Card” distributed at the registration desk can be used for all three days of public lectures. Please carry it with you at all times and attach it to your neck or other easily viewable location.
  • Zoom connection is prohibited in the venue (to prevent feedback). (To prevent feedback).
  • Please follow the instructions of the chairperson during the Q&A session.
  • Please follow the instructions of the chairperson.
  • Please do not attend any presentations other than the oral/poster presentations and the equipment exhibition.
  • Please leave the venue and time zone in question. (Registration is required.)
  • Program and abstract viewing PW will not be distributed. (Registration required)
Online participation (Zoom webinar format)
  •  Please note that neither audio nor video functions can be selected.
  • Questions will be accepted via the “Q&A” function, but the time and content of the session may not be available due to the discretion of the chairperson.
  • Some parts of the panel discussion will be broadcast from a fixed-point camera at the venue, so it may be difficult to see the panel discussion. Please understand this in advance.
  • Please make sure that the screen is in full screen mode so that you can view the slides without interruption.
