The atomically thin structure of TMDC which makes it difficult to absorb many photons, preventing the practical application of TMDC-based optoelectronic devices. The performance of TMDC-based optoelectronic devices can be improved by combining perovskite materials with high optical absorption coefficient. In this study, we performed heteroepitaxial growth of the methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) on the tungsten disulfide (WS2) single crystals and investigated their structures.
