Two-dimensional materials such as graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) form moiré superlattices when they are twisted and stacked on top of each other. Direct observation of moiré superlattices requires the fabrication of samples with a structure that exposes the twisted 2D system on the surface. In this presentation, we will introduce a simple method for fabricating samples for direct observation using PVC films and discuss the observed moiré superlattices.
