Although it is essential to capture mechanical and structural changes that lead to fracture at the initial stage in order to obtain design guidelines for composite materials, there has yet to be a method to evaluate the correlation between microstructural and macroscopic mechanical properties, which has been a significant problem. In this report, we describe an attempt to extend the lock-in thermography analysis method, which we developed as a visualization method for current paths, to a mechanical property evaluation method using small cyclic vibrations.
